Mission

Tank Action is Ottawa’s first float therapy centre that serves individuals of the community by improving their quality of life, and well being through flotation therapy.

Vision

We believe that flotation therapy, will change the way people think about treatment solutions for their health that are natural and drug free.

WELCOME TO TANK ACTION FLOAT CENTRE

Since my first few floats, I  have spent about 2 years trying to figure out how to introduce this powerful tool, float therapy to more people in Ottawa.

I was motivated to create this centre from my belief that floating is a tool that can provide benefits to the majority of people who decide to lie down in a float tank. I believe that floating is a place where people can float to let go of the daily grind, unplug from the external world, and ultimately relax.

Tank Action is the first floatation therpay centre in Ottawa to provide float therapy. Founded March 2015, through the use of  floatation tanks,  sensory deprivation or isolation tanks, to achieve this environment that removes external stimuli like noise, light, odor and touch.

The master plan idea is to make floating accessible to all; as a tool to improve health and well being,  as regularly as they desire at  the most affordable rates in the world.

Our Float Tanks

We have two types of float tanks, the Oasis style and the Pro Float Cabin, Both are very large spaces, providing the best sensory reduction experience, possible.

Each float tank:

  • Salt water: 10 inches of water with 1,200 pounds of Epsom Salt
  • Temperature: Warm 94.5-95.5 degree saltwater is maintained to stay at the skin’s average surface skin temperature
  • Filtration: Along with the the salt solution providing a hostile environment for bacteria, water is thoroughly filtered through a .1 mircron fitler, UV light treated between every appointment
